The Sadowsky MetroExpress Modern Bass is a left-handed five-string bass guitar that, as its name suggests, has a modern feel. Its sleek design including 'soapbar' pickups, high-gloss lacquer, Roasted Maple neck and the distinctive lack of a pickguard take care of its exterior. The so-called Roasted Maple is maple wood that, thanks to thermal treatment, forms a very stable neck, which not only has a warm colour but also imparts a certain purity to the sound. It is equipped with a Sadowsky Quick String Release bridge, which simplifies string changes and offers excellent sustain. To transport your instrument safely, a sturdy bag is included.

High calibre, low weight

Thanks to its Okoume body, the MetroExpress Modern 24-5 is nice and lightweight, despite shaking heavy bass notes out of its sleeve with ease. With no less than 24 frets and, of course, its fifth string, you have a nice long range and can therefore get around in many playing styles. It features active tone control with bass and treble boost. However, this can easily be switched off thanks to a push-pull switch incorporated in the bass knob. The unique element placement gives this bass guitar a completely unique sound, which is easy to shape to your own taste thanks to the clear but comprehensive tone control.
