General

Sadowsky quality at a favourable price. That's what the Sadowsky MetroExpress Vintage M 5-string bass guitar is all about. Its passive Humbucker with Alnico V magnet delivers a classic warm bass sound with a strong base without overpowering mid frequencies. What makes this bass so versatile is the active EQ with bass and treble boost. This makes the sound a bit more modern and can be adjusted to fit virtually any musical situation. However, the active part can also be switched off to work completely passively. Its Sadowsky Quick String Release bridge and on the other side of the strings the Sadowsky Light Open Gear tuning machines ensure extremely precise intonation and make tuning this bass guitar a pleasure.

Sadowsky MetroExpress: rigorous choice of materials

By using maple wood that has been 'toasted' in both the neck and fingerboard, giving it a warm appearance, the Sadowsky MetroExpress Vintage M produces a beautifully balanced sound. This thermal treatment also ensures that the neck is very stable and thus will not work much, which in turn is positive for the intonation and tuning of the instrument. The silk lacquer on the neck provides a chic finish and unprecedented playing comfort, allowing you to glide easily through all positions. The body, which is finished in a sleek high-gloss lacquer, is made of Okoume: a type of wood with good tonal properties and a low specific gravity that makes this bass weigh little despite its calibre.

Bax Music Warranty This product comes with a 4-year warranty when you register it with W-Music Distribution within 45 days of purchase. If the product is not registered it has a 3-year warranty.
