The Sadowsky MetroExpress Vintage M/J Bass left-handed 5-string bass guitar is a lightweight instrument, but of high calibre. It has everything a professional bass player needs. Its Sadowsky Light open-gear tuners offer a smooth and precise tuning experience, and the quick-string-release bridge ensures proper intonation and makes string changes a breeze. The lightweight Okoume wood body is finished with a sleek high-gloss lacquer and has a transparent pickguard giving it a modern, energetic look. The Roasted Maple used for both the neck and fingerboard has undergone heat treatment. This gives it its nice warm colour, but more importantly, this makes it very stable and has a nice resonance.

MetroExpress: versatile equipped

The 5-string Sadowsky MetroExpress Vintage M/J has a noise-cancelling stacked coil Sadowsky J-style pickup in the middle position and at the bridge a Sadowsky Quad Coil humbucker. Both elements have their own 3-way switch that allows selection between parallel-series or single-coil switching. It also features an active 'boost-only' EQ with which you can use the bass and treble rotary knobs to give your sound even more power. However, this can also be switched off so you play completely passive. The balance control ensures seamless mixing between the two elements. All this puts a huge range of sounds at your disposal.
