General

The Schecter C-4 Standard Tobacco Burl combines an affordable price with a modern look and comfortable playability. The body is made of mahogany and features a striking Figured Burl top, whilst the bolt-on neck made of roasted maple ensures a stable and responsive playing experience. The rosewood fingerboard is fitted with 24 jumbo frets and has a 16-inch radius. With a scale length of 34 inches, this bass has the familiar long-scale dimensions you’d expect from a modern electric bass guitar. The Tobacco Burl finish and black hardware give the instrument a stylish and contemporary look.

Versatile passive electronics

In terms of tone, the C-4 Standard is fitted with two Schecter Diamond Standard Soapbar pickups: one in the neck position and one at the bridge. These passive pickups are designed to deliver a wide tonal spectrum, ranging from bright and tight to powerful and raw. Each pickup has its own volume and tone controls, allowing you to adjust both pickups individually and blend their characteristics as desired. The Schecter Diamond Bass bridge and Schecter tuning machines contribute to a reliable hardware configuration. This makes the C-4 Standard suitable for a wide range of musical styles and ideal for use at home, in the studio and on stage.

Comfortable, modern playing experience

The neck features a Thin C profile, making it comfortable to hold and suitable for both beginner bassists and experienced players. The 38 mm wide graphite nut offers a relatively slim neck width for a 4-string bass. The 16-inch fingerboard radius and 24 jumbo frets give you plenty of room for smooth playing across the entire neck. The bolt-on construction is in keeping with the practical and versatile character of the Standard series. The C-4 Standard is supplied without a case; the Schecter SCSGR-6B, available separately, is suitable for this model.
