General

The Schecter C-5 Standard from the Standard series combines a stylish look with comfortable playability and solid construction. The body is made of mahogany and features a Figured Burl top, finished in the striking Tobacco Burl finish. The bolt-on neck is crafted from roasted maple and has a comfortable Thin C profile. Combined with the rosewood fingerboard, 24 jumbo frets and a 35-inch scale length, this bass offers a pleasant playing experience and a tight low end. This makes the C-5 Standard suitable for both novice bassists and experienced players looking for a reliable 5-string bass.

Powerful passive pickups

For a versatile tone, the Schecter C-5 Standard is fitted with two Schecter Diamond Standard Soapbar pickups. A passive pickup is fitted in both the bridge and neck positions, allowing you to switch between different tonal characters. The Standard series is designed to offer a wide tonal range, from bright and tight to powerful and raw. The Schecter Diamond Bass bridge ensures stable string positioning, whilst the Schecter tuners contribute to reliable tuning stability. The black hardware also gives the instrument a modern look that contrasts beautifully with the Tobacco Burl finish.

Versatile 5-string bass

With a 35-inch scale length and a 45 mm-wide nut, the C-5 Standard is aimed at players who want to make the most of the extra possibilities offered by a 5-string bass. The extra-low string gives you greater range for modern bass lines, whilst the Thin C neck profile feels comfortable in the hand. The 24 jumbo frets offer ample space for higher passages and a variety of playing techniques. The bass is supplied as a complete instrument; the Schecter SCSGR-6B case is available separately. As such, the C-5 Standard offers a compelling combination of playing comfort, versatility and a striking finish.
