The Sire Marcus Miller P7N A5L Tide Pool is a left-handed 5-string electric bass guitar that combines the classic P/J design with modern playability and extensive tonal possibilities. The alder body provides a solid foundation with powerful low-end response and clear definition, whilst the Marcus Super-PJ Revolution pickup set delivers both vintage warmth and modern articulation. Thanks to the Marcus Heritage-3 preamp with active and passive modes, you can easily switch between different tone characters for rehearsals, studio recordings and live performances.

Comfortable New Gen construction

For the New Gen series, Sire has further refined the ergonomics. The flamed maple neck features a redesigned C-profile that sits comfortably in the hand and offers long-lasting playing comfort. The rounded Edgeless™ fretboard edges ensure a smooth feel whilst playing, whilst the stainless steel medium frets are wear-resistant and contribute to a consistent playing experience. With a scale length of 34 inches, a nut width of 47.5 mm and a string spacing of 18 mm, this 5-string bass feels familiar for a wide range of playing styles.

Versatile electronics and high-quality hardware

The Marcus Heritage-3 preamp offers extensive tone control with separate controls for treble, mid, mid-range and bass, complemented by a pickup blender and an active/passive mini-switch. This makes the P7N A5L suitable for a wide range of musical styles, from soul and funk to rock and modern pop. The Marcus Miller Modern-S bridge, lightweight open-back tuning machines and chrome hardware ensure stable tuning, reliable performance and excellent resonance.
