The Sire Marcus Miller P7N A5L Tobacco Sunburst is a left-handed 5-string electric bass guitar that combines the classic P/J configuration with modern innovations. The alder body delivers a powerful, balanced tone with a solid bass response and clear definition. The Marcus Super-PJ Revolution pickup set delivers a versatile sound, whilst the Marcus Heritage-3 preamp with active/passive switch gives you the freedom to switch effortlessly between vintage and modern bass tones. This makes this bass just as at home in the studio as it is on stage.

New Gen playing comfort

The updated New Gen construction is all about optimal playing comfort. The flamed maple neck features a modified C-profile that sits comfortably in the hand and provides natural support during long playing sessions. The stainless steel medium frets are durable and wear-resistant, whilst the Edgeless™ rounded fret edges ensure a smooth playing feel. Thanks to the 34-inch scale length, 47.5 mm nut width and 18 mm string spacing, this left-handed 5-string bass is ideally suited to a wide range of playing techniques and musical styles.

Versatile electronics and reliable hardware

The Marcus Heritage-3 preamp offers extensive tone control with separate controls for treble, bass, midrange and mid-frequency, complemented by a pickup blender and an active/passive mini-switch. This makes it easy to craft the ideal sound for funk, rock, pop, jazz or fusion. The Marcus Miller Modern-S bridge, lightweight open-back tuning machines and chrome hardware ensure stable tuning and excellent resonance. The classic Tobacco Sunburst finish with a tortoise shell pickguard completes the look with a timeless aesthetic.
