General

The Sire Marcus Miller P8 S5 White Blonde is a high-quality 5-string electric bass guitar that combines classic Precision and Jazz bass tones with modern playability. The swamp ash body delivers a powerful low-frequency response, a crisp attack and a clear midrange. Thanks to the roasted hard maple neck with EDGELESS™ rounded fret edges, the bass feels comfortable right from the start. The White Blonde finish also gives the instrument a fresh, stylish look. The official Sire gig bag is included as standard, so you can transport the bass safely.

Versatile electronics

The Marcus Super PJ Revolution pickup set combines a split-coil Precision pickup with a Jazz-style single-coil, allowing you to switch effortlessly between full, powerful bass tones and a more defined, bright character. The Marcus Heritage-3 preamp with mid-range control offers extensive tonal possibilities thanks to a 3-band EQ and an active/passive switch. With the volume control, pickup blender and separate tone controls, you can fine-tune the sound to suit any musical style, from funk and pop to rock, gospel and fusion.

Comfort and high-quality hardware

Mechanically, too, the P8 S5 is designed for years of playing pleasure. The Marcus Heavymass II bridge contributes to excellent sustain and stable intonation, whilst the premium open-gear tuning machines ensure precise tuning stability. The 34-inch scale length and 46 mm-wide nut provide a familiar playing experience for bassists seeking extra range thanks to the low B string. The roasted maple fingerboard with a 9.5-inch radius, medium frets and chrome hardware round off this complete bass guitar.
