General

Fallen in love with the vintage appeal of the 1960s Framus semi-acoustic bass? Then you'd better check out this affordable, Warwick RockBass Series remake of the legendary Star Bass. The body has of course been made entirely from maple, and that's no different for the set-in neck, which also features ekanga veneer strips and a wenge fretboard with a satisfyingly flat 20" radius and 21 extra-tall jumbo frets for a brilliantly light playing feel.

The RockBass Star Bass: A Broad Range of Warm, Sixties-Style Sounds

The Warwick RockBass Star Bass has been loaded with two MEC vintage single-coil pickups that turn the warm core sound of the maple body into warm, sixties-flavoured amplified sound, which is fully tweakable via the fitted volume and tone pot. Other welcome features include the fully adjustable Just a Nut III Tedur saddle, the boosted sustain of the Warwick-designed two-piece bridge and tailpiece assembly, and the included Rockbag Student Line Plus gig bag.
