With the Sire Marcus Miller U5 Alder Flamed Maple Tobacco Sunburst electric bass guitar starter kit, you’ll have a complete and user-friendly setup at home to get started straight away. This short-scale bass is particularly comfortable to play thanks to the lower string tension and shorter distance in the lower frets, making it ideal for smaller hands as well as for fast, smooth lines with easier bends. The alder body, bolt-on maple neck with a rounded fingerboard and string-through-body bridge provide a solid foundation and a clear, full-bodied tone. Thanks to the passive PJ configuration, you have both P- and J-style sounds at your fingertips, which you can easily mix to your taste using the blend, volume and tone controls.
