The Sire Marcus Miller V3P 5-String is an excellent choice for 5-string bassists looking for a reliable and affordable passive bass with a string to spare. This V3 series model features traditional J-style styling and combines solid construction with carefully selected woods. The clear yet highly effective passive electronics allow you to effortlessly adjust your bass tone with the separate volume controls for each of the two elements and a single tone knob. The mahogany body contributes a resonant warm base tone, while the maple neck adds a slight brightness and, with its C profile, ensures comfortable playability. In addition, the rosewood fingerboard features rounded Edgeless edges, allowing you to play smoothly for a long time over the entire neck without suffering any sharp edges at all.

Marcus Miller V3P 5-String: bright, balanced & tight vintage 5-string bass sounds

In terms of hardware and sound quality, the V3P 5-String offers everything you need. The 2 Marcus Standard J-Revolution Singlecoil pickups in a JJ configuration deliver you a familiar wide range of bright, tight bass sounds with excellent balance. This is helped by the use of high-quality American Formvar wires, which contribute to a clear and high-quality sound reproduction. The Marcus Standard Bass Bridge with body-through option provides solid string response and extra stability, while the Standard Open Gear tuning machines combined with it ensure precise and reliable tuning. With its low B string, this finely priced 5-string bass guitar offers you an impressive combination of quality, playing comfort and a characteristic vintage sound, perfect for any bass guitarist regardless of playing level.
