The Sire Marcus Miller Z3 4 Skyburst Sparkle combines a classic look with modern performance. This 4-string electric bass guitar features a mahogany body that delivers a full, warm tone with powerful low-end. Thanks to the active Marcus Heritage-3 preamp and the Music Man-style humbucker, the Z3 delivers a wide range of sounds, from vintage to modern. The striking Skyburst Sparkle finish completes the look and gives this bass a unique appearance on any stage.

Modern electronics for versatile sounds

At the heart of the Z3 is the Sire Standard MM humbucker, which works in tandem with the Marcus Heritage-3 active 3-band equaliser. This allows you to easily adjust the treble, midrange and bass to create the perfect bass tone for a wide range of musical styles. The electronics deliver a clear, powerful output with excellent definition and dynamics. The metal dome knobs ensure solid control, whilst the high-quality hardware guarantees reliable performance during rehearsals and gigs.

Comfortable playing experience

The hard maple neck with Edgeless™ rounded fret edges feels instantly familiar and offers great playing comfort during long playing sessions. Thanks to the 34-inch scale length, 22 medium jumbo frets and a 42 mm wide bone nut, the bass plays smoothly across the entire neck. The five-point neck joint with a steel plate provides extra stability, whilst the Sire Standard MM bridge and open tuning machines contribute to stable tuning and excellent resonance.
