For years Earl Slick shared the stage with the most talented bassists, and now he has made his own vision of bass guitars a reality with the introduction of the Slick SLPB. This bass guitar is very impressive in quality for its price range. The solid swamp ash wood body and Canadian maple neck with Indian rosewood fingerboard ensure a rich sound and comfortable playability. Every detail has been carefully chosen, from the specially designed Slick tuning machines to the solid steel bridge with solid brass saddles.

SLPB with alnico V element

Each SLPB is equipped with a hand-aged Slick P-bass pickup, wound with 42 AWG Formvar wire and fitted with Alnico V magnets, resulting in a powerful output of 13K. These bass guitars are known for their impressive acoustic resonance, comfortable weight and the deep, powerful sound of the pickup. The open-pore finish adds to the resonance, while the manual ageing gives each instrument its own character. With the Slick SLPB, you get an instrument that makes a statement both visually and in terms of sound.
