The GHS 3070 Short Scale Brite Flats is a set of flatwound strings designed to give the traditional percussive tone of flatwound strings with a clear, mellow sound. These strings are comfortable to play, extremely durable, and suitable for both beginners and professionals. This set is made for a short scale bass guitar in standard tuning (E-A-D-G), and includes the diameters .049, .062, .084, .108.

Wrote the following about GHS 3070 Brite Flats short scale string set for electric bass
Ik had verwacht dat deze flatwounds niet zo ruw zouden aanvoelen.
Over de toon kan ik niet goed oordelen omdat ze op een vrij goedkope Alden vioolbas zitten, ze lijken nogal wollig en dof maar dat kan ook aan de bas zelf liggen.
Ik heb shortscales gekocht maar die zijn eigenlijk net iets te kort voor mijn basgitaar terwijl dat wel een shortscale zou moeten zijn.
De prijs is natuurlijk vriendelijk maar volgende keer koop ik toch weer de duurdere Thomastik. Die voelen en klinken echt geweldig.
