Brought these strings for my Jazz bass, I decided to go for a light gauge as I wanted the tension to match my short scale bass (strings used are GHS 3140). The strings feel great and do not feel rough to play. The tension was also was a big factor when deciding on these strings, they feel great with just the right amount of resistants. Sound wise I find that these strings carry loads of bottom end while allowing the highs to shine though working with any situation.

Ik heb deze snaren van GHS jarenlang gebruikt, maar was enige tijd gaan experimenteren met flatwounds. Die spelen wat comfortabeler en de fretten slijten wat minder snel. Gelukkig heb ik echter meer dan 1 bas, want voor bepaalde nummers klinken roundwounds toch lekkerder en de Bass Boomers van GHS zijn echt geweldig.

Ze klinken mooi helder en klinken lekker tijdens het slappen. Ook met fingerstyle klinken ze goed.
Minpunt is dat ze niet heel lang helder blijven klinken, maar ze worden ook niet super dof.
