Toen ik eind jaren 90 ooit begon gebruikte ik D'addarios. Ik brak ze vrij regelmatig. Ben toen overgestapt naar Ernie Balls die ik sindsdien altijd heb gebruikt. Toch laatst maar weer eens een paar verschillende merken geprobeerd, waaronder D'addario omdat ik dacht dat het destijds wel aan mijn lompe beginners techniek moest liggen (inmiddels al 15 jaar geen snaar gebroken). Deze keer geen snaar gebroken na een tijd spelen, maar ze oxideren nog steeds sneller dan de andere merken die ik probeer. Ik hoor velen die er wel tevreden mee zijn, maar D'addarios en ik zijn blijkbaar niet voor elkaar gemaakt.

Fijne snaren. Na jaren alleen akoestisch te hebben gespeeld, met snaren vanaf 012, kon ik maar moeilijk wennen aan de dunnere snaren op mijn elektrische gitaar. Aanvankelijk zette ik daar dan ook maar dikke snaren op, maar dat is toch niet ideaal. Na een aantal tussenstappen ben ik nu uitgekomen op dit setje en dat speelt heel prettig. Dankzij GHS Fast Fret ook geen last van aanslag of roest. Ze gaan dus lang mee, blijven god op toon, voelen prettig aan en klinken prima.

B-stock Gitaar gekocht bij Bax. Helaas bij ontvangst gebroken snaren. Na contact gehad te hebben met Bax helpdesk, deze set aanbevolen en alszijnde service naverzonden. Gitaar klinkt nu super en speelt heel fijn met deze snaren. Helpdesk Baxshop en D'addario, Thanks voor dit moois. Goed spul voor een zeer scherpe prijs. Service: dikke 10.

Na al jaren de gewone D'Addario XL110 snaren met tevredenheid gebruikt te hebben heb ik onlangs een setje
Balanced Tension geprobeerd en het beviel me wel , zeker gezien het miniem verschil in prijs en het goede gevoel op de gitaarhals , dus voor in de toekomst weet ik het wel .

Enige merk wat ik gebruik tot nu toe. Zelfde mening als de overige recensenten. Behalve dat roesten dan, gelukkig geen ervaring mee. Misschien omdat ik er af en toe van die Dunlop 65 cleaner/conditioner overheen trek? Gaan lang mee en blijven goed klinken.

De ultieme snarenset wat mij betreft. Behalve dan de hoge E die iets te dun is en die ik vervang door een 11. Enkele voordelen. (1) Een toonladder in 1 positie geeft een eenvormig geluid. Dit is voor mij de hoofdreden. (2) Goede bespeelbaarheid. Minder problemen met de G snaar. (3) Aangename, zoete klank. Valt vooral op als je het droge gitaar geluid gebruikt, minder met pedalen. (4) Geschikt voor alle stijlen. Net dun genoeg om nog string bends te kunnen doen en dik genoeg voor een mooi geluid. (5) Na maanden spelen klinken ze nog altijd goed.

beste snaren. elke snaar heeft de zelfde trekspanning. hoge e vind ik net iets te dun, daarom bestell ik altijd een enkele PL0105 mee.
