De GHS PRDM Progressives Dave Mustaine Signature Thin-Thick snarenset is voor de elektrische gitaar en zijn speciaal ontworpen naar de wensen van gitarist Dave Mustaine. Omdat de hoge snaren dun zijn en de lage snaren juist dik bent u verzekerd van een brede sound met sprankelend hoog en diep laag. Een bijkomend voordeel is dat het benden van de hoge snaren hierdoor gemakkelijker zal. Akkoorden gespeeld op de lage snaren klinken voller en strakker wanneer u deze snarenset gebruikt. Diameters van de losse snaren zijn: .010, .013, .017, .030, .044, .052.

Ik gebruik deze set op mn Explorer, gestemd in Es, voornamelijk voor slag.
En daarvoor vind ik dit fijne snaardiktes. En de snaren zijn snel goed opgerekt. Een paar keer bijstemmen na opleggen was voldoende.
