General

Do you have an electric guitar that could use some sparkle? Or do you simply want a more aggressive sound from your guitar? Then Thomastik Power-Brights are the strings to go for. The windings of these high-end guitar strings are made of a special alloy called Magnecore. This gives them an extra-bright tone, extra-long sustain and high output, perfect for tapping techniques, among other things. While the flexible hexagonal core provides a comfortable smooth feel.

Features of the Thomastik RP110 Power-Brights Heavy Bottom

A Medium Light set from the Heavy Bottom series, the RP110 features three 'oversized' bass strings for a fatter and tighter sound. The thicker wound strings (up to .050 inches!) are ideal if you are looking for a fuller sound, while also wanting to be able to easily push up the unwound strings for solos. But also for lower and drop tunings, the Thomastik Power-Brights Heavy Bottom is the appropriate string set.
