The ESP Edwards Signature Series Sugizo SE-S.K.I.N. Distressed Black is a guitar that immediately catches the eye with its distressed black finish and distinctive character. The model is inspired by the instrument played by Sugizo, known from LUNA SEA and X JAPAN, and combines an alder body with a hard maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. The 648 mm scale length, 22 frets and 42 mm-wide nut provide a familiar playing feel, whilst the 12-inch fingerboard radius works well for both chords and solo work. The Japanese build quality makes this a special instrument for guitarists looking for something a little different.

Sugizo SE-S.K.I.N.: character with a distinctive identity

In terms of tone, this guitar features two Seymour Duncan SP90 pickups: an SP90-1n in the neck position and an SP90-1b at the bridge. These P90 pickups deliver a full, direct tone with a clear attack and dynamic response. The GOTOH SD91-05 tuning machines and GOTOH GE101T vintage-style tremolo provide a reliable foundation and precise control. With master volume, master tone, a mix control for the neck pickup and a 3-way pickup selector, you can also quickly and easily tailor the sound to your playing style.
