General

Like its namesake Alex Skolnick, the LTD AS-1FR is a standout. This new version of his signature model comes in a special green Lime Burst finish. Besides its looks, this guitar has even more going for it to put on a solid show. With a Floyd Rose 1000 locking tremolo and a locking nut, you can play deep divebombs and vibrato without it getting out of tune. Its three-piece laminated maple neck also contributes to stable intonation. As if that wasn't enough, it comes standard with Dunlop Straplocks, so you can go all out on the next stage.

Hardware

The AS-1FR is equipped with an Alex Skolnick signature set of humbuckers by Seymour Duncan. The controls consist of two volume knobs, a rocker switch and a tone control with push-pull function that allows the humbuckers to be switched into coil split. All hardware and the humbuckers are finished in black, providing a nice contrast to the bright green body. The ebony fingerboard with 12-inch radius and extra jumbo frets ensure comfortable playing, for both riffs and solos. It comes with a sturdy ESP case.
