General

Designed with the help of American deathcore guitarist Alex Wade (Whitechapel), the ESP LTD AW-XJ7B Evertune 7-string electric guitar has an extra-long 27" scale length that keeps the strings feeling nice-and-tight, even when it's set up in an extremely low tuning. Sporting an Open Grain Black Satin finish, the ash body comes mounted with a DiMarzio D-Activator 7-humbucker that delivers powerful tone framed by fully firmed-up basses all by itself.

The AW-XJ7B Evertune: Stable, Robust and Reliable

Since Wade demands an ultra-dependable gigging partner, this 7-string metal machine has been equipped with an extra-stable, 5-piece neck made from maple, walnut and padouk. What's more, you're looking at an Evertune F7 bridge that has been teamed up with offset locking LTD locking tuners and keeps the tuning in check no matter what you throw at it. In terms of playing comfort, you're treated to a flat, 15.75" fretboard radius and 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets that offer minimal resistance and require minimal maintenance. As a sweet bonus, ESP LTD wraps this Signature Series model up in its own XJ XL form-fit case.
