The D'Addario NYXL1164 string set is for 7-string electric guitar. They're thicker than a standard .010 set, and can therefore deliver an extra-rich tone. What's more, they're optimised for guitars that have a standard scale length of 25.5 inches, so when they're set to standard tuning or one step lower, they still feel stable. This set is perfect for guitarists who play a lot of rhythm parts and like optimal control over their riffs.

Tot zover een prima set snaren. Ik was opzoek naar een set dikkere snaren om lager te kunnen stemmen zonder dat de snaarspanning te laag wordt. De snaren klinken helder en levensduur lijkt tot nu toe gelijk aan de Ernie ball snaren die ik normaal op de gitaar heb zitten. Zeker een aanrader
