General
More and more guitarists are experimenting with 'extended range' guitars, such as 7- or 8-string models. This D'Addario NYXL1059 electric guitar string set is aimed at the guitarist who plays on a 7-string guitar. It is a regular 10-46 set, but with an extra .059 for the low b string. A popular choice for high playing comfort and thick tone. This NYXL set is distinguished by the use of a new manufacturing process, using high-carbon steel. The result is a rock-solid and stable string that will be low-maintenance.
D'Addario NYXL strings: groundbreaking
D'Addario continues to push the limits of guitar strings. These New York-made NYXL electric guitar strings are proof of that. By using high-carbon steel, they are 20-40% stronger than strings of similar thickness. As a result, you can push them further without them breaking. They are also 131% more tunable, making endless stretching and retuning a thing of the past. You can start playing guitar right away! In addition, NYXL strings come in environmentally friendly, corrosion-resistant packaging, which benefits both the life of the strings and our planet.
