The people have spoken, and ESP LTD have responded with a light-eating edition of the classic Eclipse. The familiar mahogany body of the EC-FR Black Metal has been finished with a Floyd Rose 1000 double locking tremolo accompanied by a Seymour Duncan Blackened Black Winter humbucker that guarantees fearsome and forceful clarity. The single volume pot doubles as a push/pull switch to brutally split the pickup in two, opening up the wide-ranging tone of this formidable instrument. The ebony fretboard comes finished with 24 extra jumbo stainless steel frets for supreme playing comfort, while you're guided by the glow-in-the-dark side position markers. This dark-hearted Eclipse was much anticipated and definitely welcome.
