The LTD B-205SM-FL Fretless NS (Natural Satin) is a bass guitar that is notable for several reasons. The sound

The body of the LTD B-205SM-FL is made of ash, a wood type that is comfortably light of weight and that has a beautiful grain as well as excellent resonating properties. The ash body pairs perfectly with the luxurious, stable 5-part neck made of rosewood and maple. The neck has a very thin profile for smooth playing. This guitar is equipped with two humbuckers to send a rugged and hum-free sound to your amplifier, but not before you've fine-tuned it with the powerful, active 3-band equalizer!

OK I am always nervous about buying a bass I have not played, but this little beauty ticked all the boxes and is an amazing price. Came on the day stated. Took her out, really well put together - it does not matter that the body is of multi piece construction - it looks great from the front. Had a quick play, but as expected hated the round would strings, so swapped them for a set of Lab Bella flats - I used long length as you can mount the strings direct on the bridge, without going through body. Retuned and started playing. Action really low, the neck was set straight, a delight to play, as the neck is a great shape for comfortable playing. Fret markers are great too, and the intonation was spot on, so no adjustments were made to the set up. Then I plugged in. This bass has one of the easiest active eq's to get your tone right almost first time, and what a tone - I am using this bass in a jazz blues band, and it sounds perfect, but I would also use it in my prog rock band. Enough I hear you say... Summary great bass great sound great player great price. Recommendation : BUY!

Deze basgitaar is in verhouding niet duur. Op de gitaar gaat slappen gemakkelijk, dat betekent dat de afstelling direct uit de doos subliem is. De gitaar heeft een zware body, volgens mij zit er lood in, maar dat zegt dan ook wel iets over de kwaliteit van deze uitstekende basgitaar. Ik wordt blij van de wijze waarop Bax gitaren aan haar klanten verkoopt. Mijn complimenten daarvoor !

Wrote the following about ESP LTD B-205SM-FL Fretless NS bass guitar 5-string Natural Satin

Voor de kostprijs is dit een uitstekende fretloze 5 string. De bas ziet er prima uit en is goed afgewerkt. De klank is zowel onder als boven het octaaf op dezelfde plek te intoneren; precies op de lijn. De klank is helder en ook de lage B blijft redelijk strak. Op diverse basfora werd vermeld dat deze ESP vrij zwaar is; ik merk hierin echter weinig verschil met de meeste andere basgitaren. Qua klank, bespeelbaarheid en uiterlijk kan deze basgitaar zich meten met veel basgitaren in duurdere prijsklassen.
