General

ESP Guitars unpacks a streamlined version of the popular Eclipse. That's because this ESP LTD EC-01FT from the Deluxe Series has mahogany flat top body with a sleek electronics layout. This way, nothing gets in the way while playing and you can fully focus on your performance. The sound comes from a Seymour Duncan Custom 14. This passive humbucker is specially designed for ESP Guitars and offers a wide range of tones, from warm cleans to the most brutal metal. The volume control also acts as a push/pull coil-split for an extra-wide sound palette. In short, you can fully rely on this no-nonsense workhorse.

Deluxe EC-01FT: fine playing experience

The ESP LTD EC-01FT has a heelless set-neck construction, with the 3-piece mahogany neck blending nicely into the mahogany solid body. This benefits the overall resonance and sustain. In addition, all 22 extra jumbo frets on the ebony fingerboard are also easy to play. The frets are made of stainless steel so you feel little resistance while playing, which makes pressing the strings extra easy. Another salient detail is that the TOM bridge is recessed into the body. This contributes to a low action and increased playing comfort.
