Attention all Metallica fans and horror aficionados: the ESP LTD KH-NOSFERATU is very special. Kirk Hammett is known for his fascination with the classic horror, and that's why he chose an eye-catching NOSFERATU graphic based on the 1920s German film for this signature guitar. The position markers and the included Tombstone case make the sinister theme complete.

KH-NOSFERATU: No-nonsense metal machine

In contrast with the standard Kirk Hammett models, the ESP LTD has a simpler output. It features just one EMG 81 in the bridge position, so as not to interfere with the graphic. This pickup has been one of the most widely chosen active humbuckers in the heavy metal world for decades. You can adjust the power with the volume knob, and you can add vibrato effects to your heart's content thanks to the Floyd Rose bridge.

The ESP brand

In 1975, Hisatake Shibuya opened his Electric Sound Products shop in Japan. His high-quality replacement parts soon earned him the reputation he deserved, and it wasn't long before the shop started to turn out its very own guitars under the name ESP. In the 1980s, the brand got a real boost when numerous metal bands, such as Metallica, started to use its guitars. These days, ESP offers a wide range of versatile instruments, from high-grade Custom Shop models to the affordable LTD series.
