Since skilled craft is what it's all about in Japan, every example of the ESP Original Series Snapper 7 is painstakingly put together by hand by the experts of the ESP Custom Shop. This 7-string electric guitar has been built out of the highest-quality hardware and slabs of tonewood that ESP could get their hands on, resulting in a brilliantly versatile instrument that can take on anything from progressive metal to acid jazz. And, as befits a seriously impressive axe, the Snapper 7 comes tucked up inside a deluxe form-fit case.

Seymour Duncan Pickups

The core of the ESP Original Series Snapper 7 is formed by an alder body armed with three Seymour Duncan USA pickups: an SH-14-7 humbucker in the bridge position and an overwound, medium-output SSL-5-7 custom staggered single-coil in both the middle and neck position. In addition to the usual tone and volume pots, you're set up with two extra switches for even more tonal variation here.

Fast Neck

ESP have gone with a standard 25.5" scale length which gives the Snapper 7 a trusty feel right off the bat. What also helps here is the 46mm unbleached bone nut - it's 2mm slimmer than the standard 7-string nut which enhances the playability and supports more advanced techniques like sweep-picking arpeggios. Meanwhile, the 12"-radiussed rosewood fretboard has been lined with 22 medium frets and the ESP Flicker-III bridge and Gotoh locking tuners make sure you can count on great tuning stability.
