This Strat HSS is from Fender's American Professional series that replaces the American Standard series. With a rosewood fretboard, two V-Mod single-coils, and a Shawbucker, it's a true all-rounder. The Shawbucker 1 in the bridge position, created by renowned pickup designer Tim Shaw, delivers the warm, robust sound of a humbucker. The two single-coil pickups in the other positions each have their own special mix of Alnico magnets for that well-known bright Fender sound with more output.

American Pro Strat HSS Shawbucker: Modern Deep C and narrow, tall frets

The maple neck on this Strat has a Modern Deep C profile which lies somewhere between a modern C and a classic U. This not only enhances the playing comfort, it also adds slightly more mass for a smoother playing experience. In addition, the narrow-tall frets improve the intonation while still being as easy to play as standard frets.

Stable string bends and Treble Bleed Circuit

American Fenders are known to have excellent tuning stability and this model is no exception. It has Standard machine heads and a synchronised 2-point tremolo bridge with bend steel saddles. There's even a pop-in tremolo arm that allows you to easily add vibrato effects. This HSS Strat is also equipped with a Treble Bleed circuit which ensures that none of the trebles are lost when the volume level is turned down.
