General

Fender introduced the first Telecaster Deluxe back in 1973 for guitarists who wanted a solid tone without any unwanted noise. This Telecaster Deluxe Shawbucker is from Fender's American Pro series that replaces the American Standard series. It has the same qualities as the original Deluxe model, including the famous Tele twang. With two Shawbucker pickups on board, however, it offers a vintage sound with a more powerful output. Even when the volume is turned down, the sound remains bright thanks to the built-in Treble Bleed circuit.

American Pro Telecaster Deluxe Shawbucker: features

The solid sound of this Telecaster isn't just down to the Shawbucker pickups, the hardtail Strat bridge also plays a role thanks to its string-through-body construction that gives it excellent stability and sustain. The Deep C neck profile and narrow, tall frets ensure a smooth playing experience with optimal comfort. Not only that, the intonation is improved and the strings are easier to press down. To transport this instrument safely, it comes with its own Fender Elite Molded case.
