Product information

General

This Fender Jaguar MN electric guitar comes from their American Professional series which replaces their much-loved American Standard series. It combines the best features of the past with those from today. The Jaguar model was first introduced in 1962 and has been a firm favourite in underground circles ever since. Naturally, you won't want to leave the house without this Jag, so Fender has included an Elite Molded Hardshell case so you can safely take it with you.

American Professional Jaguar: V-Mod, Treble Bleed Circuit and phase switch

The man responsible for designing the single-coil pickups used in Eric Johnson's Stratocaster is the same man who designed the pickups that are used on this USA Jaguar. Michael Frank has given the V-Mod single-coils an authentic sound with a higher output. There's also a Treble Bleed circuit which ensures the sound retains its brightness even when the volume is turned down. The 4-way pickup switch gives you the option to use both of the pickups in series and in positions two and four, the phase switch can be used to put them in and out of phase.

Modern Deep C

The Jaguar has a Modern Deep C neck profile that falls somewhere between a modern C and a U profile. It not only has more mass, it is also slightly broader, making it extremely comfortable to play. There are 22 narrow-tall frets and a 24-inch scale length which both help to make string bending easier and add to the comfort of your playing experience. If you want to add subtle vibrato effects, you can do so easily thanks to the floating tremolo bridge and tailpiece with tremolo arm. You may be interested to know that the bridge can also be fixed using the special Lock button.

Fender American Professional Jaguar Antique Olive MN

Fender American Professional Jaguar Antique Olive MN

This Jaguar is a great Guitar. Very versatile with the various different pickup tone options with the slider in/out of phase switch and in series/parallel settings for both pickups together. From Tele and Strat style tones through to more unique Fender stye tones making this a very good all round guitar, good for studio work. Only issues seen so far is not sure how you adjust the bridge height and as I am not a Tremelo fan would like to be able to lock the tremolo completely not sure thats possible. And I love the olive green !

Prachtige gitaar!
