This American Professional Jazzmaster is a limited edition electric guitar from Fender's Factory Special Run (FSR). Among its impressive features are an ebony fretboard and a stunning Silverburst finish. The body of this offset guitar is made of alder while the bolt-on neck is made of maple. In terms of sound, expect the familiar Jazzmaster tone with a light punch and some added clarity thanks to the ebony fretboard. An Elite Moulded hardshell case is included.

American Professional Jazzmaster: V-mod pickups for versatile sounds

While Leo Fender designed this model with jazz guitarists in mind, it's found a lot of fans in other music genres such as rock, surf and indie too. Naturally, Fender wanted to give this FSR American Pro Jazzmaster something extra, so they turned to pickup guru Michael Frank for help. He used original single-coils as the basis for his V-Mod pickups. They deliver that well-known punch and vintage vibe while adding more output and bite to the amplified sound. Another notable feature on this model is the treble-bleed circuit built into the volume potentiometer. This ensures that you don't lose any of the treble tones even when the volume is turned down.

Comfortable to play

This Jazzmaster also scores highly when it comes to playing comfort thanks to a number of contemporary features such as the Modern Deep C neck profile. Not only is this comfortable, it also makes it slightly easier to press down the strings. The 22 narrow tall frets make string bending easier while playing chords higher up the neck with perfect intonation is another bonus. The Jaguar/Jazzmaster bridge was specially designed for this fretboard radius and it works really well in conjunction with the vibrato tailpiece. It's possible to fix this floating tremolo in position by using the lock button should you so desire. A tremolo arm is included and it can be easily attached simply by screwing it into place.
