The Gibson Les Paul 1958 Custom Shop 58 Historic R8 VOS Ebony 2011 is a rare gem among electric guitars. This guitar is a true collector's piece, thanks to its limited edition and striking Ebony V.O.S. finish. The body is constructed from a 2-piece maple top and solid mahogany, with no weight cut, for the authentic '58 sound and feel. The chunky C-shaped neck is mahogany and features an Indian rosewood fingerboard. This model offers a 24.75-inch scale, 22 narrow/tall frets and an authentic 1950s feel due to the vintage patina nitrocellulose finish. Thanks to the Custombucker Alnico III humbuckers, you have that warm, dynamic sound that made the early 'Bursts' so beloved. Every detail is right, right down to the Kluson tuners, no-wire ABR-1 bridge and carefully chosen hardware.
