General

The striking RG652K-KB electric guitar from Ibanez is the latest addition to the Prestige series. It's an electric solid-body built in Japan by Ibanez's highly skilled professionals. Only the best wood types are selected for guitars from the Prestige series and this RG guitar is made from the finest materials. A transparent high-gloss lacquer lets the beautiful Australian Blackwood top show through. Acacia wood is an excellent sustainable alternative to Koa and this model has a Koa Brown finish. This RG652K comes complete with a matching hardshell case.

Ibanez RG652K-KB sublime comfort

Under the Koa Brown top is a lightweight, basswood RG body that gives this Ibanez solid-body a balanced sound with a pleasing growl in the midrange. A solid five-piece neck made of maple and walnut, with a slim Super Wizard HP profile, is connected via a bolt. The beautiful marbled 16.9-inch rosewood fretboard also deserves a mention. The neck and fretboard add a pleasantly rounded bite to the overall acoustic sound. In addition, the 24 Prestige treated Jumbo frets give sublime comfort to the quick and smooth playability of the RG652K.

Edge tremolo and DiMarzio pickups

The legendary Ibanez Edge double locking tremolo bridge is fitted to the RG652K. This model is the favourite of icons such as Joe Satriani and Steve Vai because of its tuning stability. You can even do the most extreme dive bombs without any strings going out of tune. The Ibanez RG652K is fitted with DiMarzio pickups. An Air Norton humbucker can be found at the neck for a well-defined yet warm sound with a high output. In the bridge position, another high-output Tone Zone humbucker produces a dynamic sound with rounded trebles and very deep, rich mid-tones. Ideal for shredding!
