The superior Prestige series now has a wonderful RG electric guitar with a fixed bridge among its line up. The Ibanez RG652KFX-KB is precision crafted in the Ibanez factory in Japan. With only first class wood types used, you can be sure of a top-quality solid-body guitar. Australian Blackwood has been selected for a beautiful top while the body is made of basswood. A stable five-piece neck made of maple and walnut is connected via a bolt. The last piece of the puzzle is an exquisite marbled rosewood fretboard. This Ibanez solid-body comes complete with a matching Ibanez case.
Ibanez RG652KFFX-KB: full, clear, comfortable and fast
The RG652 has a beautiful high-gloss finish called Koa Brown. This name refers to the fact that Australian Blackwood is an eco-friendly alternative to the famous Koa wood. It also has a similar appearance and sound. Overall, the basswood sounds full with an emphasis on clear mid-tones. The top, and the fast Super Wizard HP neck, add a touch of brightness to the Ibanez KFX. The 24 jumbo frets have undergone a special treatment and together with the 16.9-inch neck radius ensure optimal playing comfort. As you would expect from a quality Prestige series guitar, this comfort remains even when playing fast. For extra tuning stability the RG652KFX has Magnum Lock machineheads from Gotoh.
Gibraltar Standard II and DiMarzio pickups
The RG652KFX has a Gibraltar Standard II bridge. This fixed bridge is specially designed to allow an optimum transfer of string vibrations to the body. The Standard II also provides high tuning stability and great sustain. The flat surface of the Gibraltar bridge saddles also enhance playing comfort. The Ibanez RG652K is fitted with DiMarzio pickups. An Air Norton humbucker can be found at the neck for a well-defined yet warm sound with a high output. In the bridge position, another high-output Tone Zone humbucker produces a dynamic sound with rounded trebles and very deep, rich mid-tones. Ideal for shredding!

Ibanez has added two guitars to its Iron Label RG series: the RG and the RG-7. These are real metal machines but with a spalted maple top and headstock. Apart from that, they have the standard Iron Label RG features, with two EMG humbuckers, 24 jumbo frets and a neck made of maple and bubinga.
