General
Ibanez is a brand that always rings a bell with guitarists as it is very popular among string-loving musicians. Especially in the somewhat rougher music styles, Ibanez is a welcomed guest. Like most other Ibanez guitars, this one from the Iron Label series, also doesn't shy away from the heavy works. It has a beautiful Sapphire Blue Flat finish whereas the grain of the used wood is still greatly visible. As it has a neck-through construction, the guitar is very comfortable to play, even at the higher positions on the neck. The finish is perfect for you to enjoy this guitar for many years to come.
Ibanez Iron Label RGIT20FE-SBF: the wooden heart
The body of this blue rocker is made of alder wood and has a neck with a neck-through configuration. This seven-part neck is made of maple and walnut, resulting in a fierce, bright tone with a clear body. Furthermore, thanks to the alteration between dark and light wood, the neck creates a beautiful effect. Thanks to the ebony fretboard on the neck, this Ibanez gets a rather fresh sound. Its set-in neck provides maximum sustain and makes this guitar very comfortable to play.
Hardware
Of course, an electric guitar needs electronics to properly function. As such, the RGIT20FE-SBF is fitted with two EMG humbuckers; an EMG 60 at the neck and an EMG 81 in the bridge position. By means of a five-way switch you can alter the sound to your liking. With the kill switch you can also switch the pickups on and off. The machine heads are of the Magnum Lock type and make sure that the guitar remains tuned perfectly, even when you go wild.
