General
Flawless elegance seamlessly mashed up with a high-spec setup, the Jackson Pro Plus Series DK Modern takes a Dinky-style body, gives it a tight, low-profile design and loads it up with a set of fanned frets and Fishman Fluence pups. To say that this guitar is modern is probably an understatement. In passive mode, the advanced Fishman-designed pickups deliver defined and dynamic sound and, in active mode, support clean and consistent output that really gives your pick-attack some solid prominence. Vary the voicings at will via the push/pull volume pot where the first setting give you warm and flowing sonic character, and the second setting gives you the kind of liquid response that's demanded by leads. Add on the Hipshot bridge and string-through-body construction, and you're getting solid tuning as well as sustain for days.
The Smooth Playability of a Compound Radius
The three-piece maple-wenge-maple neck has been topped with an ebony fretboard, finished with offset dots and a compound radius, meaning that the fretboard has a flatter feel as you move further up the neck. This doesn't just even the tension and lighten the load for your fret-hand, but reduces resistance and improves string vibration, no matter where the strings are fretted. Team it all up with the multi-scale layout and set of twenty-four stainless-steel fanned frets, and you get a model that's been built for mind-bending technical work. The Jackson Pro Plus Series DK Modern six-string comes pre-wrapped in its own gig bag.
