Part of the Jackson Pro Plus Series line-up, the SLA3 solid-body doesn't just come gifted with an iconic Soloist shape, but comes fully loaded with every modern feature the progressive guitarist could ever want. The stable core of this six-string is formed by a solid yet mega-resonant neck-through-body construction. The deluxe build of the three-piece neck combines maple with walnut for a sweet dark-to-light contrast, and has even been reinforced with graphite for good measure, while the bonded wings have been carved from chunks of exotic okoume. To polish off the comfort as well as the taste-level of the design, the body has been been finished with elegantly arched contouring and, to really top off the warm yet tight sonic foundation, the fretboard has been made from a slice of high-grade ebony. The Pro Plus Series edition of the Soloist comes pre-wrapped in its very own gig bag.

The Jackson Pro Plus Series Soloist SLA3: Searing, Broad-Range Sound

Thanks to a set of HSS-configured Seymour Duncan pups, this Jackson model delivers an unbelievably broad sonic spectrum. At the bridge, we have the modern icon that is the JB humbucker, giving you all the classic Hot Rod style output you could wish for. At the neck and in the middle position, we have two Flat Strat pickups, rounding everything off with some single-coil sparkle courtesy of Alnico V cores and extra winding. This formidable loadout gives this guitar an immediately versatile character, setting it up to take on everything from searing leads to tear-jerking cleans. Navigate everything in full comfort via the 12 inch to 16 inch fretboard radius and pull off the most brutal dive-bombs via the mounted Floyd Rose 1000 Series Recessed Double-Locking tremolo bridge.

Jackson Pro Plus Series Soloist SLA3 EB Gold Bullion Electric Guitar with Gig Bag

Phenomenal, such a great guitar for the price. Feels amazing.

The neck is perfect, the frets and fretboard are super smooth. It plays so fast its on another level. The ebony is so perfect its like richlite. I tried the Ibanez stainless steel frets and they had a weird harsh sound to them. But these stainless steel frets are the perfect balance between super smooth play-ability and a great tone.

The back of the neck is without paint, I have quite a few X series Jacksons and the paint has always bothered me as its a bit sticky. The matt paint on jacksons has an okay feel, but to get an unpainted neck with this spec is just perfection.

Jackson have been totally smashing it with their guitar releases the past couple of years.

I was a bit hesitant because its from the cheaper Chinese factory, but as soon as I saw it it was perfect. Plus at this price point you get a proper floyd rose, and the seymour duncan pickups sound amazing.

I think its crazy to get a guitar that plays like this at this price, it feels like a 3000 pound guitar. I am super happy. If you like Jacksons I think you will be super happy with any of the Pro Plus series.

I could literally talk all day about how good this guitar is, it has really inspired me and I just want to play it all the time. I wish I could give it 10 stars.
