General

The Schecter Aaron Marshall AM-7 LH was designed in collaboration with Aaron Marshall, guitarist and founder of the progressive metal band Intervals. This left-handed 7-string electric guitar has been developed as a versatile workhorse that plays effortlessly and is suitable for a wide range of musical situations. The lightweight basswood body, combined with the bolt-on, one-piece wenge neck with carbon reinforcement and the Macassar ebony fingerboard, provides a stable and comfortable foundation. Thanks to the longer 26.5-inch scale length, even lower tunings remain tight and well-defined.

Versatile Schecter USA electronics

For a versatile sound, the AM-7 LH is fitted with two high-quality Schecter USA humbuckers. The Schecter USA Equinox neck pickup delivers warm cleans and smooth lead tones, whilst the Schecter USA Solstice bridge pickup provides powerful rhythm tones, tight palm mutes and excellent definition at high gain. The Hipshot 7-String Fixed Bridge contributes to solid sustain and reliable intonation. Combined with the Hipshot Grip-Lock tuning machines, the guitar stays perfectly in tune, even during intensive playing sessions.

Designed for modern guitarists

The AM-7 LH features 24 stainless steel X-Jumbo frets and a comfortable Thin C neck profile, allowing fast runs, complex chords and technical playing styles to be executed effortlessly. The guitar comes factory-fitted with Ernie Ball 7-string strings in gauges .009–.062 for balanced tension across all seven strings. The stylish Cobalt Slate finish and chrome hardware complete the look. For safe transport, the optional Schecter SCSGR-UNIV1 case is available separately.
