General

The Schecter Abbath RavenDark V FR was developed in collaboration with Abbath, frontman of the Norwegian death metal band Immortal. This striking V-shaped electric guitar combines an aggressive look with high-quality components that are fully optimised for heavy riffs, lightning-fast solos and maximum stage impact. The mahogany body delivers a powerful, full-bodied tone with plenty of sustain, whilst the three-piece maple neck with Ultra Access heel offers effortless access to the highest frets. Thanks to the ebony fingerboard and stainless steel X-Jumbo frets, every note feels tight and precise.

Built for uncompromising metal performance

The tone is provided by a set of active EMG pickups consisting of an EMG 57 F in the bridge position and an EMG 66 in the neck position. This combination delivers a powerful output with tight bass, clear highs and excellent definition, even with heavy distortion. The Floyd Rose 1500 Series double-locking tremolo allows for extreme dive-ins and vibrato effects without throwing the tuning off balance. Grover Rotomatic 18:1 tuning machines also contribute to precise and stable tuning during intensive use.

High-quality finish

With a scale length of 25.5 inches (648 mm), an Ultra Thin C neck profile and a nut width of 41.3 mm, the RavenDark V FR plays exceptionally fast and comfortably. The glossy black finish with silver-coloured pinstripes emphasises the exclusive character of this signature model. The guitar comes factory-strung with D’Addario NYXL Regular Light .010–.046 strings. For safe transport, the optional Schecter SC1690 case is available, which is specially designed for this model.
