General

The Schecter Banshee Mach-7 FR S is a high-quality 7-string electric guitar for guitarists seeking maximum playability and a versatile, powerful sound. The body is made from Swamp Ash with a striking Flamed Maple top and features a Fallout Burst finish. Thanks to the Neck-Thru construction with Ultra Access, you’ll enjoy excellent access to all 24 frets, even in the higher positions. The neck is constructed from Roasted Maple and Purpleheart in a multi-layered design and features carbon fibre reinforcement rods. The ebony fretboard, X-Jumbo stainless steel frets and Ultra Thin U-shaped neck profile ensure a fast and comfortable playing experience.

Lundgren and Sustainiac

In terms of tone, this Banshee is fitted with a Lundgren M7 pickup in the bridge position and a Sustainiac pickup in the neck position. The Lundgren M7 delivers a tight, dynamic and powerful sound that is perfectly suited to modern metal and rock styles. The Sustainiac allows notes to sustain for extended periods and also offers various modes for the desired sustain characteristic. With the 3-way pickup selector switch, the separate Sustainiac on/off switch and the 3-way Sustainiac mode switch, you have a great deal of control over the sound. The controls consist of a volume control, a tone control and the various switches for the pickups and the Sustainiac function.

Floyd Rose 1500 and high-quality hardware

The Floyd Rose 1500 Series bridge enables extreme tremolo effects and, thanks to the double-locking mechanism, ensures stable tuning. The Grover Rotomatic 18:1 tuners also offer precise tuning. The guitar has a scale length of 26.5 inches (673 mm), a nut width of 47.6 mm and a compound fingerboard radius of 12 to 16 inches. The 24 X-Jumbo frets are made of stainless steel and contribute to a smooth feel during bends and fast passages. The hardware is finished in Black Chrome. The guitar comes with Ernie Ball 7-string strings; an SCSGR-1C case is available separately.
