The Schecter C-1 FR S SLS Elite is the flagship of its series. The core of this all-modern axe is formed by a swamp ash body with a gorgeous, flamed maple top. The bridge position is filled in by a Fishman Fluence Modern Ceramic Humbucker, which is able to serve up a wide range of tight sounds, while at the neck, Schecter has mounted a Sustainiac complete with a 3-way mini-switch for toggling between different voicings: fundametal, harmonic, and a mix of the other two flavours. Add that to the Floyd Rose 1500 double-locking tremolo bridge and you've got everything you need to go all-out.

The C-1 FR S SLS Elite: Fast Neck

The neck of Schecter guitar is another stand-out feature. The neck-through-body construction combines with an All-Access heel for unrestricted access to all twenty-four extra-jumbo frets on the ebony fretboard, which has a compound radius that shifts from twelve inches at the headstock to sixteen inches at the body for a smooth playing feel, whether you're slinging solos or taking care of rhythm work. Finished with offset abalone inlays and contrasting binding all around, this electric guitar genuinely looks as tight as it sounds.
