In the Black Satin-finished form of the Damien-7, Schecter unleash a real 7-string monster and the perfect side-kick for any right-minded metal purist. This axe doesn't just sound tight and all-powerful, it's surprisingly easy to tame and master thanks to the exquisitely slim C-profile neck and the 16" fretboard radius. Here, the neck itself is made of maple, while the fretboard is rosewood and features bat-style inlays to enhance the guitar's sinister looks. For the all-matte-black body, Schecter have opted for mahogany, which gives this archtop guitar both its warm resonance and its tightly defined sound.

Full Palette of Tonal Colours

On the 'inside', the Damien-7 is a lot more tonally colourful than its sleek yet dark appearance may have you suspect. Loaded with two Diamond Heretic passive humbuckers that can be split via the fitted push/pull tone control, this Schecter electric serves up a full palette of tonal colours that can be used to bring 'pushed' lead parts as well as brilliantly clean melodies to life. The bolt-on neck adds a little spank to the tone, giving it that bit more presence and directness, while the fixed Schecter Custom Hardtail bridge, string-thru-body construction and unshakable Schecter machine heads take care of supreme sustain and solid tuning stability.
