General

The Sire Larry Carlton T3 New Gen is an affordable yet modern take on a well-known and widely used guitar type. Sire knows exactly how to change things up where others fall short. It has a rosewood fingerboard with rounded edges and a slightly larger radius of 9.5 inches, so you can play for a long time without getting irritation or pain in your hands. The mahogany body provides a slightly more balanced sound and is much more comfortable thanks to its more ergonomic shape.

Familiar sound.

This new generation of the T3 features Sire Standard-T pickups. Two single-coils that let you get all the classic single-coil sounds right out of your sleeve and offer a richer and more dynamic sound thanks to the Alnico magnets. Clear sounds for country licks or rock riffs, for example, are obtained with the bridge pickup, or switch to the neck pickup for a warmer, fuller sound for jazz or pop, for example. This Sunburst variant also has the well-known look to match. The fixed bridge has a separate saddle for each string. This ensures spotless and stable intonation.

Wrote the following about Sire Larry Carlton T3 New Gen 3-Tone Sunburst electric guitar

I bought this particular model after i discovered Sire guitars recently.

I got to actually handle one at a guitar shop i just wanted to see how the neck felt
I was looking at a PRS silver sky and a Fender player 2
sadly the PRS and the fender didnt feel right for me, as soon as i was handed the Sire i knew i would be getting on with it.

So i bit the bullet and got this . . .

I do have a Squier Affinity which is a damn fine guitar ive done lots of home recording with it this year the neck is just great for me
But . . . . .the minute i plugged in the Sire it just blew the Squier out of the water the neck, the pickups the whole instrument is amazing, the finnish is immaculate/

I think Sire are truly a major player in the guitar market and definitaly giving Fender a run for their money

If you want a serious guitar for a really great price then look now further ive owned Squiers and proper Fenders in the past but this . . . . this guitar is in a league of its own

Cant wait to get my Sire S7 now
