General
Generally speaking, the guitar world is pretty conservative. Still, now and again, a manufacturer takes a risk and develops something truly outside the box. VOX's remarkably comfortable, innovative Startstream Type 1 took 4 years to perfect and is capable of more sounds than a standard electric guitar. This particular VSS-1 comes in black and features a specially-designed 3D frame and a mango wood body. What's more, it has VET (Virtual Element Technology) which can simulate a wide range of instrument sounds. It's a real chameleon!
Starstream Type 1: versatile modelling technology
The VOX VSS-1-BK is equipped with two humbuckers, a piezo pickup and Virtual Element Technology. This means that besides a selection of electric guitars, you also have a variety of acoustic instruments at your disposal, including a 12-string steel-string, banjo, resonator or even a sitar. At the same time, the VET can emulate synthesizer sounds too, like a bass synth. You can adjust all these sounds to your own personal preferences and even store them for future use.
