The Pacifica 311H makes the Yamaha Custom Shop experience more accessible than ever. This versatile guitar is the little brother of the Pacifica 611H, and shares the same hot rod looks and famous Yamaha sound and playing characteristics, but for a more affordable price. The Pacifica 311H features a solid alder body with red metallic finish, and is equipped with a humbucker and a P90 pickup, along with high-quality hardware including a hardtail bridge and Grover locking tuners. Once again, with the Pacifica 311H Yamaha proves that a reliable guitar with great looks, comfort and accuracy doesn't have to cost and arm and a leg!

Versatility of the Yamaha Pacifica 311H

Yamaha has developed a new set of pickups for the Pacifica 311H based on the Seymour Duncans featured on the 611H. Both the chrome humbucker at the bridge and the cream-coloured P90 at the neck position make use of an Alnico 5 magnet for a warm, clear vintage sound. The humbucker is outstanding for rougher guitar work with its full, powerful sound, and the P90 combines sparkling single-coil intonation with humbucker warmth. The coil-tap function makes it possible to split the humbucker if you want that bright single-coil bite. All of this comes together to make the Pacifica 311H and all-around outstanding guitar for blues to classic rock musicians and everyone in between.

The Pacifica models are some of the world's most popular guitars. They were introduced in 1990, and thanks to Yamaha's relentless pursuit of quality, they won a large variety of awards and international prizes. And it wasn't all for nothing.
