General

The Pacifica 311H is a mid-class guitar from the Yamaha Pacifica series. It's based on the Pacifica 611H but is more affordably priced for the ambitious beginner. This guitar has everything that the Pacifica series stands for, namely affordability, quality, reliability and above all great sound and playability. The 311H is easy to play, and with its humbucker and P90 single-coil pickups has a ton of versatility, especially for blues and classic rock genres. It is equipped with high-quality and reliable hardware including six Grover locking tuners and a solid hardtail bridge. Just like its big brother, the Pacifica 311H VW has a solid alder body, and is finished in Vintage White with a chic tortoise pickguard.

Yamaha Pacifica 311H:

The Pacifica 311H has a special pickup configuration. The chrome humbucker by the bridge sounds full and warm and gives a vintage output that is perfectly suited for overdrive sounds found in classic and modern rock. The P90 by the neck is thicker than a traditional single-coil, but it still has the same sparkle and bite making it perfect for bluesy crunches and warm jazzy cleans when combined with the tone knob. Pull the tone knob out and switch the humbucker to a single-coil for bright country cleans and punchy distortions. The neck of the Pacifica 311H has a thin, sleek profile for optimal comfort and playability, and thanks to the 14-inch flat radius of the fingerboard dead notes are a thing of the past!

They were introduced in 1990, and thanks to Yamaha's relentless pursuit of quality, they won a large variety of awards and international prizes. And it wasn't all for nothing. At the end of 2011 four new models were released: the 611HFM, 510V, 120H and this 311H. Superbe guitare.
Superbe finition et quelle classe toute blanche.

Superbe son, première fois que j'utilise un P-90 et j'en suis plus que satisfait.
Le micro chevalet est un peu criard mais pas encore été chez le Luthier pour faire une petite révision dans les formes.

Surpris par la qualité du son et des micros. Le p-90 est d'une chaleur incroyable et la faculté à transformer le micro double en simple en font un bon instrument très versatile dans le son que l'on souhaite. Cette guitare peut couvrir presque tout les sonorités.

Manche rapide et agréable, touches du plus bel effet.

Première guitare yamaha et plus que satisfait, bref je recommande

Super gitaar, mooi afgewerkt, goede hardware, goed hout, lekker licht, voelt heerlijk aan, speelt geweldig, hier kunnen andere bekende merken nog wat van leren!

Zoek je een veelzijdige semi professionele gitaar voor een beperkt budget? Stop dan nu maar met zoeken. De Yamaha Pacifica 311H is wat je zoekt.

- Veelzijdig: De 311 heeft een humbucker en een P90 aan boord. Deze zijn van prima kwaliteit en je kunt er vele geluiden mee uit je gitaar halen

- Semi professioneel: De Pacifica 311H heeft de body van de 611H en voelt daarom solide aan. Alleen de afwerking van de 611H heeft wat meer finesse. Dat zie je terug in de prijs.

- Budget: de 311H ongeveer de helft van de prijs van de 611H. Ja, de 611H is de pro, maar de 311H verslaat de 611H wat betreft prijs-kwaliteit.

Als laatste wil ik melden dat de Yamaha Pacifica 311H bijna vlekkeloos werd afgeleverd. Bax leverde in een werkdag, super. De intonatie en de action waren ingesteld in de fabriek. Alleen de lage E snaar moest wat bijgesteld worden.

Samengevat: DIT IS EEN TOPPER, waar voor je geld!
