The Yamaha Pacifica 611HFM belongs to one of the most popular series in the world of electric guitars. What's more, with its unique character and great performance it's the ultimate embodiment of the Pacifica concept introduced back in 1990. The alder 611HFM combines the deep vintage tone of a Seymour Duncan Custom 5 pickup with the cool, clear sound of a SP90-1. A flamed alder top with transparent black finish gives this guitar a true custom-shop look. Both the serious amateur and the professional will be thrilled with the incredible versatility of this beautiful instrument.

The classic pickups of the Pacifica 611HFM

The rich sound possibilities of the Pacifica 611HFM make it suited for any genre. The pickups were modelled after vintage pickups that earned their stripes back in the '50s. The clear SP90-1 in the neck position is modelled after the original P-90 pickup and produces a cool sound with powerful mid-tones. The Seymour Duncan Custom 5, by the bridge, is a based on the classic '59 humbucker, but with a higher output, giving it a less distorted and more vintage sound that retains the deep lows. You can even pull out the tone knob to use the Custom 5 as a single-coil. Unlimited possibilities!

Saddles and bridge

The high-quality TUSQ XL bridge and Graph Tech saddles on this Pacifica descendant are composed of Teflon and graphite. The self-lubricating properties ensure that the strings stay in tune and don't get caught in the bridge and break quickly, no matter how intensely you play them. Additionally, the guitar doesn't have problems with the high, dominant 2 kHz tones that are often created by metal saddles. Together with the steel bridge plate they ensure a more direct sound and a strong sustain. The 611HFM really goes the extra mile. . . .

Geweldige gitaar deze Yamaha.
Speelt geweldig en sound is ook goed ..Na 2 jaar nog geen problemen mee gehad.
Dit is er 1 die ik niet meer weg doe.
