Yamaha has always been in close contact with the users of their products, which they find is the best way to create new and innovative designs. Years of feedback from musicians, music-lovers and industry professionals have resulted in the Revstar RS502, part of Yamaha's new RS series of electric guitars. The Shop Black finish on this guitar has been modified with steel-wool, and the satin gloss nickel-plated hardware give it an industrial look. In short, it's a multifunctional workhorse for the real fans. To top it all off, it even comes with a gig bag!

RS502 Shop Black: simply stunning

Yamaha is clearly going for a minimalistic look, but a lot of work has gone into the deceivingly simple appearance of this electric guitar. To please the ear as well as the eye, Yamaha has equipped it with two powerful P-90 pickups. From blues to rock, the RS502 will accurately reproduce every subtlety in your playing. The mix of a mahogany body and a maple neck enhance its balanced sound, and an adjustable wrap-around bridge ensures good intonation and tuning so you can focus fully on your performance.

Every detail of the Revstar series has been crafted with care and attention so that each individual model stands out in its own unique way. To do this, Yamaha gathered inspiration from the vintage motorbikes seen on the streets of London and Tokyo. From curved lines and newly-designed body shapes to characteristic finishes, these electric guitars are the result of years of expert craftsmanship.
