Boasting a fully wooden build, the SVV200 viola has the natural playing feel of a normal acoustic model, but can be plugged directly into the PA system or recording desk. Even if you just prefer to rehearse in silent privacy, the fitted headphone output allows you to do just that. High-quality electronics have been integrated into the body and guarantee a pure and clean, noise-free amplified signal, and while an equalizer has been built-in, this can be easily bypassed as preferred.

The Yamaha SVV200 Viola: Fully Grown Design & Great Sound

The Yamaha SVV200 has been given a 16-inch-long body to ensure full and deep sound as well as maximum playing comfort. The body has also been built using spruce to enhance tonal clarity and support a rich timbre, while extra definition is provided by the maple neck. The 'silent' frame, meanwhile, has been carved from triplex and finished in matte black to give the body its authentic, acoustic feel, making the transition from acoustic to electric and back that much easier. The natural sound of this smart instrument is captured in focussed detail and amplified by a dual-pickup system, giving voice to every nuance and expression of your playing.
